Hear directly from the experts at WHEDA and the Wisconsin League of Municipalities. Jon Searles, Community & Economic Development Director with WHEDA, will discuss the new loan products and an overview of the updated 2025-2026 Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP). Curt Witynski with the Wisconsin League of Municipalities will highlight the municipal requirements for the WHEDA loans.

Learn from the City of Hayward as a recipient of the Infrastructure Access loan and from another municipality deemed ineligible for a WHEDA loan.

Following lunch, Dyann Benson, Community Development Director with the City of Fond du Lac, will report on the 2024 Housing Study and Action Plan. Village of Campbellsport Administrator, Charlie Kudy, will explain Campbellsport’s recent and expansive growth; they are experiencing 2.48% in net new construction compared to the county average of 1.43%.

Sadie Howell, President/CEO of Envision Greater Fond du Lac will give an overview of Fond du Lac County, its demographics, labor, industries, and introduce the various municipalities ready to meet with housing developers.

Finally, the event ends with networking. Developers will have the opportunity to meet directly with municipal leaders and find the right location for their next housing development.
